Sound Design

The Viking Village:

The Viking Village is a simulation game set where players take on the role of a village leader. They must manage resources, build relationships, and protect their community from threats in a stunning Nordic landscape.

 

As the sound designer and composer, I crafted an immersive audio experience using Unity and FMOD. The game features a dynamic soundtrack that evolves with gameplay, alongside rich soundscapes that bring the village to life capturing the essence of daily activities, celebrations, and challenges the villagers face.

Half-Life: Alyx - Audio Redesign

During one of my university game audio modules, I was assigned to redesign the audio for a gameplay clip from Half-Life Alyx. To achieve an authentic sound, I focused on extensive foley work. I utilized a Zoom H5 with various attachments for this purpose. Among my favorite sound design elements in this project were recreating the subway ambience from a digger recording and capturing the hum of electrical lights using an electromagnetic microphone.
